Customer Service/Sales Representatives are key members of our team and represent Mr. Handyman on customer calls and email correspondence. The Mr. Handyman CSR is responsible for handling project requests from residential and commercial customers. The CSR manages Service Technician schedules and communications with them in the field. The CSR is the heart of the business and is integral to helping technicians be able to service our customers and streamline the business. There are a variety of activities this role can take on as they become knowledgeable so the experience is endless and the pay reflects the additional knowledge. 

The most successful CSRs are self-motivated, energetic, problem solvers and enjoy helping people. No two days are alike. As a CSR, you promote the highest level of friendly customer service and satisfaction and effectively manage a variety of situations on a day-to-day basis. 
We are a paperless company and most all of our operations data is communicated live between our office computers and tablets in the field.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Receive incoming calls to understand customer project requests..
  • Return customer calls and emails, respond to customer lead and sales requests.
  • Setup automatic email appointment confirmations, reminders and follow up on customer experiences.
  • Provide basic estimates for handyman services with specialized service guide, schedule services and organize technician schedules.
  • Perform sales marketing functions to sell additional work and earn new and repeat business.
  • Perform sales tracking functions including minor data entry, payment processing, imaging and scanning.
  • Communicate with service technicians to ensure they are supported with needed information and materials.
  • Schedule appointments and oversee changes on schedules to provide best customer service.
Job Requirements:

  • Previous customer service and/or phone sales experience highly preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail.
  • Computer literate, with working knowledge of Microsoft office suite. Training included for specialized programs.
  • Detail-oriented with strong data entry skills as well as highly organized.
  • Team player who can work independently and as the heart of the team to help move projects forward.
